Cotacachi

This past Saturday, June 16 we visited Cotacachi, a local town that specializes in leather products. Very cool stuff and the prices by U.S. standards are unbelievable. Needless to say our shopping continued. We were traveling with 2 good friends Dan and his sister Amy who are buyers for Ecuadorian products. In one photo Dan and I were modelling custom made leather jackets, which sold for $120 US. I took a few photos of the artist who makes all of the leather products in their store, he was so proud to show us his shop and his manufacturing techniques. The street scene is of the shopping district in Cotacachi.
