We took the mountain road to Mariano for the Inti Raymi festival this past Saturday. It was treacherous and scenic. Our driver Carlos, however, was experienced. I think he did enjoy scaring us a little when he would stop for me to take a photo. The truck tire was about 12 inches from the edge of a 500 foot drop. The total elevation was 12,000 ft........Yikes.
