The Wonderful People of Carpuela

This was our second trip to Carpuela to continue planning our art camp later in July. During our visit we met a local musician who agreed to provide the music for our final show. Also got a chance to watch a local soccer game with the kids of Carpuela.
The people along the roadside were drying beans. This is very common in Ecuador. They even cover sections of the Pan American highway at times to dry their beans. Sometimes this even closes the highway for periods of time.

Muy Chevere!
