We visited a small village about 15 minutes from Pimampiro called Carpuelo to meet with several women from the community to plan the art camp that is scheduled for July. There will be 3 components to the program, fashion design/dance, ceramics and photography. Several local artists will teach the ceramics and fashion design/dance classes and my partner Sue Brown and I will teach the photography class. Students will learn the use of the digital camera and creative imaging. They will then document the activities of other classes using their new digital cameras donated by Vibrant Village Foundation.
